Born and raised in North Texas, Kevin Falconer learned from his parents the importance of hard work, faith in God, and service to others. Those values have defined Kevin throughout his life as, a father, a husband, a successful businessman, and a public servant.

 

As an architect and a businessman, Kevin has led the design and development of projects for some of the largest projects in America. Kevin has the experience and knowledge to run a balanced budget and prioritize smart growth for Denton County that protects our neighborhoods from urban sprawl.

As Mayor, Kevin cut the tax rate six years in a row and worked closely with first responders to ensure they had the tools and training needed to keep families safe, leading to a 40% decrease in crime over the last 10 years, even with tremendous growth.

 

Kevin and his wife, Susan, have been married for 39 years. They are proud parents of 3 daughters and grandparents of four. The Falconers are active members at First Baptist Church at the Fields.
